Art Festival Promotional Materials
Amdur Productions produces art festivals throughout Chicago and the suburbs. The festivals take place over the short Chicago summer so our solution had to be simple, yet attention getting. We created posters, banners, commercials, ads and brochures for each festival. Typically, we would choose one piece of art to represent each show and then design the other pieces with a clean aesthetic to help focus on the most important information.
Postcards were provided to the artists to promote their participation in the festivals. We developed a design template that incorporated variable data to include their name and a list of all the festivals they would be a part of on one card. This worked well by avoiding multiple cards for each festival the artist was it, was customized for the artist and saved money for the client.
The image above shows the program book created for the Port Clinton Show. This continues the use of the flower image used for the poster and the ad below. We would create over 70 ads for all the festivals in one season.
